The Challenge
Teams of four students will choose an animal to mimic its movement in the wild by programming Sphero to move around, dipping it in the paint, and create a painting on a canvas with that program.
The Results
Students created very interesting paintings with at least two colors, collaboratively. How they programmed Sphero to move like a tiger, for example, and their choice of colors, were very thought out and deliberate. It was a super fun project that allowed first and third graders to practice their skills in teamwork and positive communication skills. It was also a lot of fun!
