Students practice memorizing a piece of poetry, or read their own writing as a video. this is then saved, and presented on the “Grid” for other students to see.
Memorization can be boring, but with the motivation to make your own video, my students were eager to memorize their poems. This was also a safe way for students that are reluctant to share to present their ideas to the class.
