No doubt about it, the last year has been a doozy to say the least. So many monstrumental changes in the ways we deliver instruction, collect and assess student work, connect with students/families and communicate. How can we capitalize on everything we have overcome and ultimately learned about integrating technology into our classrooms?
Open Doors to Tech of course!
Come join us for a year long exploration of what the ISTE Technology Standards could look like in your classroom, and build upon everything you learned the past year. You know you are a tech expert now, so come put those super powers to use!
Open Doors to Tech consists of 2 summer days, 9 monthly meetings and RSD Techfest. For participating, you can choose to earn 4 grad credits through OSU Cascades ($50/credit + $35 registration) or 4 in-district credits.
We spend our summer days coming together as a team, opening our minds to possibilities, learning from industry experts and honestly getting excited for the learning journey. In our first cohort, we didn’t even crack the computer open for two whole days!!!!

During the monthly meetings we will examine one ISTE Standard. As a group we will share resources and ideas while getting time to actually plan for implementation. Some standards are just too juicy, so they get two months:)
– 9/27, 10/25, 11/15, 12/13, 1/31, 2/28, 3/28, 4/25, 5/23, 6/6
TechFest is our own conference for ODTT members, put on by ODTT members. We will have amazinginess amongst our group and we will get them to share their magic with us. Yummy food and sweet door prizes, it is a blast.
