It’s beginning to look a lot like a STEM DAY! Teachers around the district are taking advantage of an opportunity to have their kids explore various tools that infuse technology, engineering, science, and math in a rotation day set up just for their grade level.   With this introduction, students and teachers can take what they’ve learned to apply these team-based activities to other parts of the curriculum. Students enjoy the uniqueness of the day, but more importantly, are ready for more, even after the day has ended. To organize your own STEM day, check out this example plan of action, or better yet, contact Mike or Vickie and we’ll get you squared away!  Wouldn’t it be awesome if every day was STEM DAY?
