Mr. Capps at Terrebonne Community School has his students exploring the Augmented Reality Sandbox to learn about topography and streamflow and their effects on each other over time.  As they mold and shape the sand by hand, students immediately see the changes that take place in elevation, as well as streamflow.  Add some virtual precipitation, and more changes in the landscape arise.  What a great way to investigate an area of science that is sometimes tough to visualize.  What else could students learn?  Let us know your ideas!
